Hey, I’m Walton.

How I Got Here

My journey began in a college film photography class. That course changed how I saw the world—and how I approach photography. I learned to slow down, think through every frame, and shoot with intention. Over time, I trained myself to watch, wait, and notice the small things in life. I’ve come to value what a moment looks like, and how to capture what it feels like.

How I Work

I like to keep things collaborative. I’ll guide when needed, but I don’t over-pose or force anything—I want you to feel like yourself. I work based off instinct and experience. Whether it’s a wedding or a quiet afternoon, the goal is to bring you back to that moment.

Off Camera

When I’m not shooting, I’m either hiking, camping, building around the house, or hanging with my wife and family. I love nature and jump at any chance to find hidden gems—near or far.

Why photos

I’m in this to make images that actually hold your attention—something you don’t just scroll or flip past. I want each frame to make you pause, feel the moment, and picture what it was really like—who those people are, and what it meant to be there.

I’m a photographer with a focus on creating honest, deep images.

I want photos that stay with you—not just ones that look nice.
